About this product
Tirzepatide (LY3298176) is a synthetic 39-amino-acid peptide that activates two receptors: GIP and GLP-1. Supplied as a lyophilised powder in a 30 mg or 40 mg vial for laboratory research.
Structure
- Peptide backbone. A GIP-based 39-residue sequence with α-aminoisobutyric acid (Aib) at two positions, which increases resistance to enzymatic degradation.
- Lipid chain. A C20 diacid attached to a lysine side chain through a linker. It binds albumin, so the compound persists longer in research models.
- C-terminus – amidated.
Research areas
- GIP and GLP-1 receptor binding and activation studies in cell models.
- Biased signalling, cAMP and β-arrestin pathways compared with single-receptor agonists.
- Peptide stability, pharmacokinetics and analytical method development (HPLC, MS).
Packaging
A sealed glass vial with an aluminium crimp cap. Every vial carries a batch number and expiry date.
For laboratory research only. Not for human or animal use.
- Purity confirmed
- Batch certificate of analysis (COA)
