About this product
NAD+ (β-nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, oxidised form) is a coenzyme found in every living cell. It is not a peptide but a dinucleotide. Supplied as a lyophilised powder in a 1000 mg vial for laboratory research.
Structure
- Two nucleotides joined by a diphosphate bridge: one carries an adenine base, the other nicotinamide.
- The oxidised form (NAD+) accepts electrons and becomes the reduced form NADH – its main role in oxidation–reduction reactions.
Research areas
- Dehydrogenase enzyme reactions and NAD+/NADH ratio measurements.
- NAD+-dependent enzymes: sirtuins (SIRT1–7), PARP, CD38.
- Mitochondrial respiration and cellular energy metabolism in vitro.
Packaging
A sealed glass vial with an aluminium crimp cap. Every vial carries a batch number and expiry date.
For laboratory research only. Not for human or animal use.
- Purity confirmed
- Batch certificate of analysis (COA)
